The A.E. Schlueter Organ:

First Presbyterian Church of Savannah

Built in Lithonia, Georgia, the Schlueter organ beautifully completes the original vision of our sanctuary, established in 1956. This remarkable instrument, dedicated on October 9, 2005, features 47 ranks of pipes and serves as a testament to our rich musical heritage. Notably, hymn-writer Lowell Mason was among the ruling elders when our congregation was founded in 1827. The organ's design not only enhances our worship experience but also creates a stunning focal point for the stained glass window depicting Christ at the center. With a case crafted from native white oak and a console made of white oak, mahogany, and ebony, the organ is integral to our growing ministry of music, reflecting our belief that worship is all about God.
